REFLECTIONS

There comes a time in everyone's life that we wondered the essence of living. There are times that we lose our sense of purpose. There times that everything is wrong with everything you do. I sometimes wonder why things can't just fall in place so that everything will be ok. Life has become more of a cycle that we cannot really decide for ourselves what we want to do. We always have to live the dreams of our parents all our life till we are old enough to dream our own dreams, then our children will also live our dreams.
At every point, life or society is expecting something from us.
After spending 9 months, you are expected to be born
and then six months start eating solid food
and then six months start walking
and then start running
and then start school
and then continue to jhs
and then sss
and then tertiary
and then start working
and then get married
and then have kids
and then the cycle starts all over.
It then continues and never ends. But the most important part is the transition stage. That is moving from one part to another. That is the point where all these difficulties arise. Imagine finishing sss, then all your friends are getting to the university then the frustrations set in. Or after vars when your friends are all working and getting married then u are still at home jobless.
these are the exact times that we lose our purpose in life and we wish we could end it all. But i have a message for u.
If u think u are going thru hell don't stop, because that is not ur final destination. keep on moving cos u will soon come out. I'd always wondered why mountains are so steep and rocky. then my attention was drawn to what will happen if it were not so. if it were all smooth how can we climb up. The purpose of the rocks and its rough nature is to enable us climb the mountain cos it will be impossible to climb if it was not rough but smooth. Our challenges are there to help us to reach the top of the mountain and each has its own story to tell.
Finally, even though the wind may blow,troubles toss u to and fro, get on ur knees and give it time, then the answers u will find in Jesus. Just hang on cos help is definitely on its way.
